Based on formal definitions, the actual WG 39 is less a Working Group, but much more an internal advisory group. Therefor TC 40 decided in the plenary meeting 2021 to combine the AG 42 and the actual WG 39 activities into one new Advisory Group AG 42. The new title is “General items and planning”. The convenor of current AG 42 accepted to continue convenorship under the extended scope.
