  • Advise TC 40 on other relevant matters concerning this subject
  • Prepare a specification for the packaging of dual-in-line components, for example automatic handling
  • Prepare a specification for the packaging of chip components, for example automatic handling
  • Prepare a document for the packaging of single-in-line components

AG 42

General items and planning

  • Make recommendations for strategic directions and scope of TC40 work program
  • Prepare TC40 working procedures (REF documents) to support working groups and project teams
  • Prepare harmonised structure and texts in TC40 deliverables to facilitate the standards development process
  • Coordinate all activities with respect to the development and update of international standards and other deliverables in the field of methods, measurements and general preferences, and facilitate the maintenance process of these publications
  • Create a TC 40 website environment to encourage new, particularly young engineers, to visit this site as a source for information and hence stimulate the use and the participation on IEC standards
  • Create and define a clear structure and regulations for the use of the collaboration tool
  • Specific tasks of an advisory nature allocated to this group by the plenary committee meeting

  • Coordinate all activities with respect to the development and update of international standards and other deliverables in the field of Capacitors, Inductors and Filters, and facilitate the maintenance process of these publications
